Just journalling...

Well there's been no stitching happening this past week.... most unusual in my household of late. I have been doing quite a bit in my journal though, so thought I would share some of my pages with you. Below is an Angel I painted with acrylics (inspired by the art of the lovely Lynne Hoppe). As you can see by the page on the left, I am still enjoying doing my 10 minute collages (a la Shelley Klammer). I just love these quick little collages, they are a great start to the day.
Also from Lynne blog one of her lovely quotes that I had to include in my journal. I loved this painting by Kristin Vestgard titled "sisters", thanks Carolyn for the link to her wonderful art.

And... another. Birds seem to be featuring quite a lot lately????

    Your journal pages are wonderful!! No more apologizing for not stitching!! All of your work is so fabulous, it is a treat to see whatever you do!!!
    I love the daily 10 minute collage Idea!! Perhaps I shall do several as I continue to clean up my art space!! I ahve photos of your wonderful doll on my blog, along with Dot's!! i do love them so!!!Big Hugs!\

    One can ever have too many birds my friend! Thank you for sharing some of your journal. I love your angel on the red background. And read your words. You are a very loving and spiritual woman Jacky. And everyone who knows you is blessed to have you in their lives.
    You are inspiring me to to some 10 minute collages myself. Think it's time I got the gel medium out again!
